4 Levels To Making A Difference
Feb 07, 2019
We all want to make a difference, either in someone’s life or in the world at large. People want to leave a legacy not just live a life. We just don’t know where to start. Getting started is often the most difficult thing to do but once you get the ball rolling, nothing can stop you.
Here are some small steps in creating a foundation to make a difference.
- Recognizing you want to make a difference. Ask yourself a few questions first. What kind of difference do you want to make? Where can you start? How can you make a difference or an impact?
- Make a difference with people who want to make a change. It’s not about you, it’s about working with people who want to make a difference. You can’t force change on another person. Their desire to grow or change comes from within. Look for like minded people that need your help or guidance and who are ready to accept it.
- Making a difference with other people who have the same goals as you. You can’t make a long term impactful difference alone. Find your tribe of people who want influence change in the same way you do to work with.
- Make a difference at the right time. Determine if this is the right time to launch your change project. Do you have the personal time, the right resources, the right team in place?
It will be empowering to start with these four strategies at a deeper level. Use your mind, heart, and soul to make a difference. Realize that change doesn’t always happen overnight.
